Why Sun Stands Still?
I chose the name, Sun Stands Still Photography, because that’s what a photograph does, it holds time still. It’s a way to preserve a moment, to relive beauty, emotion, and connection long after it has passed. Photos have always mattered to me. They’re how we remember, how we cherish, how we hold onto the people we love.
The name also carries deeper meaning. In Joshua 10:13, God performed a miracle for His people, He made the sun to stand still for a whole day so that they could fulfill His purpose. God did this when Joshua spoke to Him in faith.
It wasn’t just an act of power, but of love. That moment reminds me that God’s timing is perfect, His plans are intentional, and His presence brings peace.
God still does miracles today to accomplish His perfect purpose. We must have faith that when things seem impossible, God can make the sun stand still and so much more. He is GOD and has the power to do things you never imagined possible. Believing in Him and living life with Him makes life so full of joy and peace.
When I photograph, I see echoes of that miracle. Time slows. Purpose unfolds. And real, radiant, love shines through.
